Message took a day off and had my AC and got dynoed at Balanced Preformance in Atl today. condenser is shot =(. oh well.

got on the dyno and b4 the timing tweek, had about 201 @ 15degrees, 3 runs. advance timeing to 17, hit 205 and started to detinate. =\??? not sure why. so we cracked the sniffer reading and it was 16 with stock timing( cold manifold). went to 15 with the 17degress(warmer manifold). so we back it down to 13degress and it went down to 14. =\ still lean but a bit safer. the plugs show a little lean resadue(SP) but not bad, but still a long way to the 12.5. there are a few places i need to check on sense i had to rig some stuff to get the car running but the tuner says the EGR or tha lack of it shouldn't cause it (sense it dont work any ways at WOT). Maybe the upped compression might have to do with it, or the injector insolators i made might have something to do with it, or maybe my cats with 170k on them.

on to the dynos and the mod info

the 196 dyno was done back in jan in 62 degree weather, and right after i drove 140 miles i went right one to the dyno. modds: intake headers(helped the low end but the stock exhaust still kille me on the high end) UDP, and fly, maybe driveshaft. cant remember.

the current one was at 97 degrees mods: intake, exhaust, ecu, headers, fly, drive shaft, slight ported lower intake, and i shaved down the spark plug nubs on the intake of the heads. (no pulley)

what i still have to do...... have some tesk pipes made, wire in my ELE fans, and maybe put on my UDP. and get a fuel pressure regulator. i wounder if i would have had this problem if i had the ECU programmed with the 370's like i had ordered it. =\who knows.
